SHIELD GBV Response & Safeguarding Consultancy is a registered Non-Profit Company (Reg No: 2026/263916/08) based in Plettenberg Bay. We focus on gender-based violence awareness, safeguarding education, and guiding people on how to respond safely when someone needs help.
Led by sisters Victoria and Sarah, SHIELD works closely with schools, churches, communities and businesses to create safer spaces through practical, respectful, and trauma-informed awareness talks and workshops.
Our work is not counselling or emergency services, but rather early intervention — helping people understand abuse, respond correctly, and connect to the right support services.
We believe prevention starts with awareness, and that informed communities have the power to protect and support one another.
